CARD BATTESIMO- A CARD FOR A CHRISTENING

Ciao!!
Finalmente è arrivato venerdì!!! si sta un po' meglio, non fa caldissimo... mi domando dove siano finite le esetati che ricordo di quando ero bambina...
Sto per andare al lavoro, ma prima volevo postare e salutarvi!!

La mia amica Manu, ormai la mia migliore cliente, mi ha chiesto di realizzare due card per due battesimi: un bimbo ed una bimba...

Ecco che sento già gli ingranaggi del mio cervellino che iniziano a rullare....

Avevo visto in rete tantissime card molto belle e salvato duemila tutorial. Era ora di inziare ad usarne qualcuno!

Sul blog di Giusi avevo visto la sua bellissima card e ho seguito il suo tutorial...

In realtà è stata realizzata in gruppo con Sara e con Elena durante il nostro ultimo incontro!

It's finally friday... it cooled down a bit so we all feel a bit better.... Even though this is not really summer.... wonder where the summers I remember from being a child have gone....
I am about to go to work, but I wanted to post this before going and just say hello!

My friend Manu, my best customer as far as now, asked me to make 2 cards for two christening, for a boy and one for a girl.

My little brain started its engine and ....

Since I'd seen so many wonderful book cards and saved lots of tutorials...I thought maybe it was about time to use one of those!

I saw Giusi's card on her blog and I decided to follow the tutorial she linked

Actually, I made this card together with Sara and Elena the last time we got together...

Ovviamente è la card per il bimbo.

Un bel timbro Magnolia, una carta digitale di SheryK, un bel nastro... e mi sembrava che fosse già bella così!

Obviously this is the card I made for the boy!

a lovely Magnolia stamp, a digital paper by Sheryk, a nice ribbon... and I thought this should be it!

Ok, forse ho esagerato con le guanciotte.... lo so! :D

Ok, maybe I was a little too enthusiastic about cheeks and exagerated a little... :D

Abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà nel piegare ... ed interpretare il tutorial, perchè il traduttore non è sempre così perfetto.... però direi che il risultato è soddisfacente! :D

Here's the inside of the card. I just love it soooo...

We had a hard time with the folding and interpretation of the tutorial as the translator is not always well performing....

But I'd say it is pretty nice!

Ci va un po' di lavoro, ma l'effetto è davvero splendido!

Isn't it lovely? It takes a little work, but the final effect is so stunning...

Ho sporcato i bordi con i distress, così come il bordo punchato con il punch di Martha Steward!

I distressed all borders and so I did with the border I punched with the butterfly punch by Martha Steward.

La card è molto semplice, ho voluto aggiungere un piccola candelina Ikea...

oltre all'effetto visivo dà anche un ottimo profumo alla card!

The card itself is very simple: i wanted to add a little tea light.... It's Ikea of course! Besides the looks, it adds a lovely scent to the card once you open it!

Il tutto è stato poi inondato di Glimmer mist!

The final touch is of course some Glimmer MIst!

UN'ALTRA BORSA.... CI STO PRENDENDO GUSTO- ANOTHER BAG...I'M KINDA GETTING ADDICTED...

come state? io sono sopravvissuta al terremoto di ieri...solo tanta paura e ansia... per fortuna, se ci sono state le scossse di assestamento non le abbiamo percepite....
Certo che Madre Natura fa PAURA quando ci si mette! Fortunatamente non ci sono stati danni a cose o persone se non qualche crepa in qualche edificio, quindi ...diciamo che è andata bene!!!!

Ebbene sì, ci ho preso gusto a cucire le borse...

Certo, i risultati ancora non sono dei migliori, ma io sono già felicissima!

Girovagando in rete ho trovato questo bellissimo tutorial...mi sono innamorata subito di questa borsa... e quindi una volta scelta la stoffa mi sono messa all'opera...una domenica mattina....

How are you? I survived the earthquake yesterday.... just very scary and anxious... luckly we did not get to feel the aftershocks if there were any...
Thing is Mother Nature can get pretty scary.... Fortunately there were no damages to things or people...maybe just a few cracks in some old walls.... let's say we got away with it!!!

Yeah, that is right... I am kind of getting into sewing bags....

Of course results are not so great yet, but I'm already very very pleased!

Surfing on the blogsphere I bumped into this amazing tutorial. I instantly fell in love with this tote bag...so I picked the fabrics and started working on a sunday morning...

Avevo in mente di usare il tessuto jeans... e allora, rovistando tra le stoffine nella mia craft room... è venuto fuori questo abbinamento, che ne dite?

I had in mind to use some denim fabric... and searching through my fabric stash I came up with this match.... what do you think?

Mi piace molto il  look quasi shabby smorzato dal jeans...

Il fiore è frutto di una nuova fustella della big shot... bello, vero???

Ho unito i due tessuti e poi fustellato il fiore e cucito... mi piace tantissimo!

The flower is nothing but a big shot die cut.... nice, right?

I joined the two fabrics and then cut the flower and sewed it together. I just love it!!

Cucire il fondo è stato un po' complicato, infatti uno dei due lati è storto....

ma io ovviamente vi mostro solo quello venuto bene!

Sewing the bottom has been rather complicated.... and one of the 2 sides is not really looking good, but of course I am just going to show you the straight side!

La borsa è piuttosto capiente, ci stanno un sacco di cose e ha due bei tasconi interni in cui infilare di tutto!!!

The bag is rather large, you can fit a lot of stuff in it! I also has two lard inner pockets to fill with lots of things! :D

Non so quanto bene si veda dalla foto, comunque i tasconi sono grandi quanto tutta la lunghezza della borsa!

I have no idea how clear that might be from the picture, but the inner pockets are as large as the whole bag lenght!

come state?E' sabato sera, forse sta per piovere ed oggi non  ho concluso molto.... a parte un paio di cornici shabbate che vi mostrerò più avanti...Ogni tanto è anche bello prendersi del tempo per essere pigri!!! Voi che fate???

Oggi voglio mostarvi il sal di Giugno di Lella: arrivo sempre in ritardo..

Quando ho ricevuto la tappa in cui era palese che si trattasse di un progetto di patchwork volevo piangere...Rinomatamente non sono particolarmente precisa.... e il patchwork mi piace tanto, ma proprio non ce la faccio...

Allora mi sono messa di impegno.. e devo dire che non è andata malissimo....

Hello you! how are you doing?
It's saturday evening, it is probably about to rain and I haven't really been up to that much today.... besides a shabby frame I will show you later on. Every now and then it is just fine to be totally lazy!!! What are being up to???

Today I'm going to show you the stitch along work by Lella on which we worked in the month of june... Better later than ever, right?

When I received the instructions that made it clear it was a patchwork project I just wanted to break down and cry...

I'm pretty well known to be anything but precice.. and patchwork really needs you to be precise....

I worked really hard on the project and I must admit it didn't really turn out too bad...what do you think?

Un bellissimo cuscino con del jeans e delle cotonine coordinate....

A me piace molto!!!! Ora è diventato il nuovo amico della mia micia... però  ogni tanto me lo lascia ancora ammirare! :D

It is a beautiful pillow with some denim fabric and some coordinated fabrics. I love it!! It has now turned into my cat's new best friend...but she still lets me admire it every once in a while!!

Mi piacciono molto le stoffe che ho scelto.... e tutto sommato i quadrati non sono neanche così disordinati! Ovvio che avrei potuto fare meglio!

I really love the fabrics I picked. After all, the squares are pretty much matching everywhere.... Of course, I could have done much better!!

Potevo scegliere se ricamare a punto festone o con la macchina... ho deciso di provare con la macchina per cucire... prima o poi dovevo affrontare questo battesimo del fuoco, no???

Anche qui: sicuramente si poteva fare di meglio, ma per essere i primi tentativi io sono contenta!

I could choose  to hand embroider or to use my sewing machine. I opted for the maching: I just had to face this step sooner or later. Even with this, I reckon I could have done much better, but considering it is the very first time I sew borders with my machine, well, I am pretty pleased!

Questo è il retro.

Come vedete Lella ha pensato ad una chiusura che permettese di estrarre il cuscino in qualsiasi momento! è molto comoda!

This is the back of the pillow. As you can see, Lella created a   lap closure that allows us to take the pillow out at any time... Very handy!!!

Questo è l'angolo: abbiamo eseguito una cucitura che delimiti il cuscino, il risultato è un bel bordo morbido che mi piace tanto!

Here's one of the corners. We sewed all around the perimeter of the pillow, the result is a lovely soft border that I just love!

In conclusione sono molto soddisfatta. un altro bel progetto spiegato benissimo e realizzabile anche da principianti come me!

I really do and I guess I might make another one pretty soon... I am quite allergic, to dust in particular, and I have got LOTS of tissue boxes around the house and even at work to be honest!!!

tanto per cambiare faccio sempre le foto con la luce peggiore.... però mi riduco sempre a fotografare la sera e o a fine giornata... devo proprio pensare di organizzarmi un piccolo set... altrimenti le foto faranno sempre un po' schifino...

come state? E' finita un'altra giornata.... sono stanchissima e stasera non penso di riuscire a far altro se non ricamare due crocette per il Sal coeur di Barbara: mi sto appassionando!!!!
Però non mi dimentico certo delle altre passioni!!
Dopo aver visto tante Tea light Cards in giro per la rete ho deciso di provare a farne una anche io.... Sono quelle card che contengono al loro interno una scatolina con delle candeline... Deliziose!

Ho usato questo facilissimo tutorial e mi sono messa all'opera per realizzare una card di compleanno!

how are you???Another day has gone.... I'm exhausted... and I guess tonight I won't be able to do nothing more than stitching a couple of crosses for the sal coeur organized by Barbara... I'm kinda of falling for it!!!
But no way I forget my other hobbies...

After seeing lots of beautiful tealight cards on the net, I made up my mind and decided to create one.

I used this clear and easy tutorial and started creating a birthday card

Allegra, colorata, e ... molto profumata!!!

Funny, color ful and really smelling good!

Vi piace?? a me piace tanto!! ed è anche piuttosto semplice da realizzare!

Il timbro è un acquisto al meeting Asi nazionale....

Non avevo ancora scoperto la carta da acquarello quando ho fatto questa card, e la colorazione in effetti lascia un po' a desiderare. Però il timbro è così allegro...

I bought the stamp when I was tha the national ASI (italian national scrapbooking association). I hadn't found out about watercolor paper,yet when I made this card... the coloring is pretty bad, but the stamp is so funny that it makes it up!

I also created a little pocket to contain a tag I made

Ovviamente tagliata ed embossata con la big shot!

Obviously cut and embossed with my bigh Shot machine!

Ho aggiunto un fiocchettino,così questa tag potrà essere usata come segnalibro se la mia amica lo vorrà.

I added a little ribbon, so that the tag might be used a a bookmark if my friend will want to.

BARATTOLINO PUNTASPILLI - PINKEEP BOTTLE

Come state? Finalmente la settimana è finita e ho davanti un bel weekend per sbrigare un po' di commissioni e creare qualcosina... Con questo caldo non è facile e non avrei voglia di fare niente..ma  poi vedo i progetti in sospeso e allora... parto!!!!
Oggi vi mostro una creazione piccina picciò....
Una mia carissima amica ogni tanto mi commissiona qualche lavoretto.....

stavolta le serviva un puntaspilli... Ragionandoci insieme abbiam optato per un barattolino porta spilli con un piccolo pinkeep sopra....

E allora, una volta avuto il barattolino con il tappo di sughero mi sono subito messa all'opera!

Come vedete è davvero semplicissimo, però mi sembra che renda parecchio, che ne dite?

how are you doing?The week is finally over and I have a whole weekend ahead of me to do a few things I left behind and to craft a bit... Being this hot it is not easy and I basically feel like being lazy all day...but when I get to lay my eyes on the wip works.... well, I just have to get started!!!!
Today I'm going to show you a tiny little craftwork...

A dear friend of mine sometimes asks for a few of my craftworks.... This time she needed a pinkeep... We talked about it and opted for a tiny bottle with an upper pinkeep.. So

once we found the bootle with a cork plug I started working on it..

Come vedete è davvero senmplice, ma mi piace molto!

As you can see, it is a very simply craft work, but I really like it!
