Molte di voi probabilmente si stanno godendo un lungo ponte! :D Io oggi ho lavorato...avendo appena cambiato lavoro non mi è neanche passato per l'anticamera del cervelletto di chiedere ferie!

Quest anno non mi sono organizzata per tempo e non sono riuscita a fare i lavoretti di halloween che tanto avrei voluto realizzare....

però...

però....

LE ZUCCHE, quelle sì che dovevo farle!!!!!!

Quando sono tornata a casa ho trovato degli strani ospiti che si sono sistemati proprio vicino alle mie care zucchette....

How are you doing?

Many of you are probably off on bank holiday.... I worked today ... considering I  just got this new job, I didn't really feel like taking a day off!!!

I was pretty late this year and I couldn't rally craft anything for halloween...

but

but....

PUMPKINS.... I just had to make some!!!!

When I got back from work I found some unexpected visitors nested around my lovely little  pumpkins...

penso che rimarranno lì tutto l'anno!!!!

They settled there with my stuffed duck and... I guess I'll keep them there all through the year as they are too cute!!

Ma veniamo alle zucche... che sono l'unica cosa che ho fatto io dato che i pupazzetti sono stati acquistati hee hee

non ho proprio resistito...

ho  fatto un mix di tutorial tra quello di Cinzia e quello del sito The cottage  home

 e sono venute fuori queste...

Ho voluto usare i tre timbri che ho acquistato perchè veramente non avrei saputo quale scegliere! sono tutti così adorabili.....

I wanted to use all of the 3 stamps I got...they are all so adorable... I really couldn't make a choice!

Devo dire che ci ho messo un po' a partorire questa card, perchè avevo un'idea precisa in mente su come volevo realizzare la card e ho dovuto farla sposare con lo sketch.... Alla fine devo dire che sono molto soddisfatta! :D

I must say it took me a while to create this card, as I had a pretty clear image of the card I wanted to make in my mind and I had to coordinate it with Karan's sketch. I must say I am actually pretty pleased and the hard work paid back!

Ho aggiunto un po' di lana per creare l'effetto ragnatela.... che ve ne pare?

I used some wool to create a web effect, do you like it?

Ma quanto mi piacciono queste streghette???

VASSOIO COUNTRY-COUNTRY TRAY

come state?io sto da lunedì.... sono reduce da una domenica passata in balia di qualche virus influenzale...niente febbre...ma tanti dolori, sembrava che mi fosse passato sopra uno schiacciasassi.... Sto meglio ora, ma non sono in forma.  Che dire, sono i mali di stagione, vero?
Ho concluso pochissimo nel weekend, sono stata inchiodata davanti alla tv a sentire della morte di Simoncelli... che mi ha lasciato senza parole, del terremoto in Turchia...insomma, non un panorama troppo allegro......
Parlando di cose più allegre... ho diverse cosine arretrate da mostarvi!

Continuo ad esercitarmi e sperimentare il country painting che adoro.....

e questo l'ultimo esperimento...

How are you doing?I feel like monday's.... I am coming from a sick sunday..I must have caught some flu virus... no fever fortunately...but I was all sore and felt like I'd be run over by a truck.... I feel better now, but I am not in great shape, really...what can I say??? these are the seasonal diseases....
I didn't come down to anything during the weekend,  I was stuck in front of tv to hear about Simoncelli's deathly incident, which left me totally speechless, and about the earthquake in Turkey.... not a quiet moment really....
Talking about lighter things... I luckily have some other creations to show you....

I keep practising with country painting... and here's my last craft...

Io semplicemente ADORO i ginger.... quindi come potevo non innamorarmi al volo di questo pattern????? mi sono detta che forse era un po' troppo complicato per me, ma ci ho voluto provare comunque.....

Si trattava di un vassoio su cui anni fa avevo provato a fare decoupage con i tovagliolini e avevo combinato un pasticcio tremendo..... quindi ho scartavetrato tutto... una bella mano di gesso e via!

I simply love gingers.... so how could I not fall in love with this adorable pattern???? I tole myself this was maybe a bit too complicated for me, but I wanted to give it a try anyways!

This was a try I once tried to decorate with tissue decoupage... but it was a huge disaster.... So I sanded it carefully and painted it all over...

Devo dire che ci ho messo praticamente un pomeriggio intero a dipingerlo e a rifinire il vassoio con uno look shabby ....

Sono molto soddisfatta del risultato.. non pensavo di riuscirci.

Certo, ci sono tanti errori, tanti difetti, ma considerato da quanto mi cimento con questa tecnica direi che posso ritenermi molto contenta!!!

I must say it took a whole afternoon to paint this... and to decorate the tray giving it this shabby look....

I am very pleased with the outcome... I didn't think I could make it.

Of course there are mistakes, brushes are not precises as they should be... but considering I havent' really been painting for too long, I must say I am totally happy with it!

Ho ovviamente usato uno stencil per la scritta.. e scurito i bordi interni del vassoio dato che si vedevano ancora dei rimasugli del pasticcio  con i tovagliolini.....

I have obviously used stencils for the writing... I darkened the inner borders because you could still see some of the left overs of the tissue -tragic- decoupage experiment...

Ma quanto sono belle queste gallinelle country???

Questa borsina mi piace molto: è delicata ed elegante... e non troppo piccola! :D

I love this: delicated and elegant... and not too small!

Ho realizzato la rosellina con la tecnica dei petali bruciati con la candela... anche questi fiori li metterei praticamente ovunque!

I made the rose with the candle burning border technique... I would use such flowers anywhere, I just love the delicate look they give to anything to attach them to!

La borsa è davvero veloce da realizzare.. in due ore al massimo è finita, e che soddisfazione!!!

This bag was very quick to make... two hours and you are incredibly pleased with your work!
